Joe BAKER, Treasurer

Joe Baker and his wife Patty moved to Lawrence from the Kansas City area in 1976. The Bakers have two daughters and four grandchildren. Joe has been in the insurance business for 43 years and is president of CEK Insurance and Patty was a teacher for many years in both Lawrence and Kansas City.

Joe current serves as a board member and the treasurer for the O'Connel Youth Ranch. He also serves on the board of trustees for Cottonwood, Inc. His commitment to the community has led to serving on the board of directors for many charitable organizations over the years and that commitment has led him to serve on the board at LCS. "I am very honored to serve on the LCS board. I hope to help in some small way. I believe that the homeless problem in this country is the problem shared by us all."
