I hail from a small, rural, farming community in Kansas where the importance of education and serving others were priorities in my household. That guiding influence pretty-much set the mold for the rest of my life and is supported quite succinctly in Martin Luther King’s credo, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”

Currently retired, Max Fridell served as the Director of Academic Affairs for the Kansas Board of Regents. Prior to his years at the KBR, he had a long career as a professor, higher education administrator, K-12 administrator, and teacher/advocate (forever one at heart). Max holds five degrees, including a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas.
