We would like to invite you to join us for the Housing and Homelessness Strategic Plan listening sessions being hosted by the City of Lawrence and Douglas County in May. These sessions provide an opportunity for community members to come together and provide input on strategies and solutions to address housing and homelessness in our community.
Our organization has been actively involved in advocating for the needs of those experiencing homelessness in our community, and we believe that these listening sessions offer a valuable opportunity for us to work collaboratively towards solutions.
We will be helping facilitate at the following listening sessions:
• Friday, May 5, 9-10:30 a.m. at the Lawrence Union Pacific Depot, 402 N. Second St., Lawrence
• Thursday, May 18, 5:30-7 p.m. at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont St., Lawrence
We invite you to join us at these sessions and share your thoughts and ideas on how we can address homelessness and housing insecurity in our community. Together, we can work towards creating a more just and equitable future for all.
