Adult Learning Center

Remote or hybrid GED preparation classes, and diploma completion programs. There is a $25 material fee, and enrollment ends October 19th.

Ballard Community Services

Rent assistance, emergency food services, clothing assistance, and early childhood education programs that provide trauma-informed childcare. By appointments only, Monday through Friday.

Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence

Parents as Teachers

Free education programs for expecting parents or parents with children under the age of three. The program is designed to give children the best possible academic success by supporting parents roles as teachers.
