Douglas County Legal Aid Society

Free legal services to Douglas County residents who qualify, including: domestic relations (divorce, child custody), landlord / tenant relations, and court- appointed juvenile and misdemeanour matters.

Kansas State Parole Office

The division of Parole Services supervises offenders released from Kansas correctional facilities on parole, post-release supervision or conditional release. This division also manages offenders released from other states and who are on probation or parole and for whom Kansas has accepted for Interstate Compact supervision.
Lawrence Municipal Court

Handles violations of city ordinances, including traffic and parking violations within the city limits. Zoom court hearings are now available.

Provides youth residential program for 10-18 year olds, juvenile intake, family and foster care services, and prevention and diversion program.
